Watkins Glen KOA Campground is a complete Camping Resort located in the Heart of the Fabulous Finger Lakes Region of New York State. The Watkins Glen KOA Campground - Camping Resort offers great full-hookup sites, including long BIG RIG pull-thru RV sites, sites among the woods, and grassy sites with sun or partial shade. Most of our pop-up (water & electric) sites are very well shaded and many are quite secluded as well. While our regular tenting is somewhat limited, our Group Tenting areas are large and well equipped.

The Northeast's BIG RIG Paradise

The owners of Watkins Glen KOA are avid Big Rig RVers and have seen the best and worst of RVing. With this in mind they have created a BIG RIG Paradise within their RV Park. You will rejoice in the ease of pulling in and out of this Campground. From the Main Entrance to the RV Sites - improvements have been made with you, the customer in mind.

Sunset Acres, our park-within-a-park, has been designed to be the perfect BIG-RIG facility.  Sunset Acres is located at the end of the resort so traffic is minimal.  In fact, most of the traffic is fellow campers, on foot or bicycle, checking it out and making notes to specifically request it the next time they come. The sites within Sunset Acres are all spacious, with 24 of the 26 sites the easiest of easy-in/easy-out.  There are two back-in sites; so delightful and gorgeous that they are among our most requested. Enjoy the large concrete patios, fire rings, picnic tables, lamp posts, and gliders. Make yourself at home and enjoy your surroundings!

• Premium Patio Sites-pull-thru Big Rig Sites w/concrete stamped concrete patios.

• Standard Sites (some with patios)-pull-thru for Big Rigs and up to 40' RVs
• Woodsy Sites-back-in sites situated along the rim of a wooded ravine. No patios.
• Economy Sites-pull-thru and back-in sites for RVs up to 30'. No patios.

Water and Electric Sites are available for smaller RVs, Pop-Ups and Tents. No cable on these sites.

Tent sites are available with no hook ups. These sites are located close to the bathhouses. The Watkins Glen KOA also has two Group Tenting areas for larger groups. The Group Tenting is further from the bathhouses. Our staff maintains this area with about 50 picnic tables and fire rings for the enjoyment of your camping experience.
