This Campground boasts of the largest number of KOA Kamping Kottages in the Northeast USA. We incorporate a "cluster approach" where a cluster of Kabins and/or Kottages are located near a variety of RV sites. With this design approach, we can usually keep groups in close proximity to one another.

Watkins Glen KOA Camping Resort began the Camp Lodging business in a big way in the late 1990’s. There are presently 31 Lodging units, including 18 Kamping Kabins and 13 Kamping Kottages. While the attention has been focused on RV site development in recent years, Lodging is the focus for 2011 and 2012. See our Site Map

• Deluxe Kottage - equipped with a full featured kitchenette, bathroom with shower, air conditioning, TV, large refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Sleeping accommodations include a futon, and double bed with a single bunk above. All Kottages are provided with towels and bed linens. Our PLUS units are larger with a large outside deck.
• Standard Kottage - equipped with a mini-fridge and coffee maker, TV, and a bathroom with shower. Sleeping accommodations include a futon and set of bunk beds. Our PLUS units are larger with a larger deck. Sleeps 4.

Revitalizing the KOA Kamping Kabin - For 2011, we completely refurbished all 18 Kamping Kabins, resulting in units that are better than when they were new.  When you step into one, we absolutely expect you to say, “Wow!”

In addition to the restoration efforts, 11 of our Kabins have been upgraded to include flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and better furnishing throughout. KOA Kamping Kabins are still basic with no bathrooms, but our goal is that your Kamping Kabin experience here in Watkins Glen KOA will be the best you’ve ever had!

• Two Room Kamping Kabins - Cozy, comfortable sleeping rooms with air conditioning and electricity. No bathrooms, but location is close to our bathhouse. PLUS units have all new interiors with mini-fridge and TV. Sleeps 6.
•  One Room Kamping Kabins - The budget choice and a great step up from tent camping. PLUS units are equipped with mini-fridge and TV. Sleeps 4.

Kamping Kabins and Kottages have decks and most are in the woods or shaded. A great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors without fighting the elements!
