Groups & Reunions The Watkins Glen-Corning KOA Kampground is designed and operated EXCLUSIVELY for vacationers. With first-class facilities and amenities and our prime location in the Finger Lakes resort region, our campground is ideal for RV groups, family reunions, and groups of all kinds. Our RV campsites are clustered around a beautifully finished enclosed pavilion that often serves as "group central". Our Kottages and Kabins are arranged in various clusters, making is possible to provide a variety of site types and accommodations in close proximity to each other. With the addition in 2006 of a large fully-equipped General Purpose/Meeting room in our NEW Indoor Recreation Center, we believe we have the finest group facilities in the area today. Campsite and Lodging Discounts Available to Groups We generally offer RV group discounts in the spring and fall. Weekday group stays during the summer may also be eligible for a group discount. The only discount available to RV groups on holidays, special events, and summer weekends is 10% with the KOA Value Kard. The only discount available for Kottages and Kabins is 10% with the KOA Value Kard. Group Facilities Available Our campground has designed its group facilities to effectively accommodate groups up to about 100 people. Group facilities must be reserved in advance and will be available at the discretion of management. The following group facilities are available:
Discounts for the Rental of Group Facilities Groups wishing to use our group facilities may apply a CREDIT equal to 10% of their combined camping registration fees towards the use of any of the group facilities. That CREDIT cannot be applied to any other charges, and it has no other redemption value. For instance, a 30 unit RV group staying for 2 nights @ $36/night will have a CREDIT of $216.00 that can be used towards the rental cost of any of the group facilities. 30 RV sites x $40/night x 2 nights = $240.00 CREDIT If the group wanted to rent the pavilion with the use of the kitchen for one day, as well as the meeting room with audio/visual equipment for another day, rental charges would total $275.00.
As you can see by the chart, for most groups the registration fee CREDIT earned will offset most or all of the cost of rental group facilities. Non-Camper Guests Campground facilities are for the use of registered guests only. If a group plans to have non-camper guests attend a group event, a complete list of non-camper guests must be provided in advance. A per-person fee will be charged with full payment in advance by the group.
