Introducing: The Summershiners are an organization, based in North Carolina, that staff and manage recreation and activities at quality camp resorts throughout the USA! They will be with us for the summer months of 2010. The specific activities for specific weekends have not been set up yet.More to follow...PLUS... We have several terrific "Do It Yourself" activities that are available throughout the season. These include: Dig for Pirates Gold Our huge 44' Pirate ship, SEA BANDIT, sits in a sea of about 200 tons of sand. We bury hundreds of dollars of Pirates Gold (play coins) regularly in the sand. Coins that are dug up can be spent like real money in our store ($2.00 limit per child per stay). START DIGGING!!! The Great "Finger Lakes Treasure Hunt" Now in its 15th year, our "Finger Lakes Treasure Hunt" will take you and your family around the campground as you solve clues and learn fascinating facts, legends and lore about our beautiful Finger Lakes region. When you have completed the "hunt", stop in at the store and claim your prize!. You can start this activity by getting your first clue to solve from our staff in the store/office! Saturday Late Night Adult Swims Relax and enjoy our beautiful and exciting vacation region by day, but on most Saturday nights, the pool will stay open an extra hour (from 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm). The lights will be turned low, the children will be excused, and the adults will have the pool and spa to themselves for a late night swim. It's a great way to end the day! Outdoor Movies in the Evening Every evening (weather permitting) from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend, we will be showing a family-oriented movie in our NEW "Theater in the Woods" big screen free of charge. |
